New in 2023: a retrospective of the work of artist Nancy Packard Leasman. This project has been made possible, in part, by a grant from the Five Wings Arts Council with funds from the McKnight Foundation.
This blog began as a daily painting blog but as life changes, so does a blog. It has become a journal of a writer who paints and enthusiastically works outdoors to maintain fitness.
This is a great little painting. I loaded the buttery background on- one solid color but thick enough to drip. Then 30 strokes of black paint created the man, his dog and the bird. Very satisfying little painting.
I love it! For some reason, it makes me want to dance. I can feel the movement, and it's impossible to not smile while looking at it. Go ahead, try to stop smiling. See what I mean?
Hi. I'm on the way back from distant lands and stuck in the first US airprot I've seen for a while, which means the first Internet in a while. You will not be surprised to hear that I am convinced that the dog is Mole' and I really really need to be home. Nicew welcome home-thank you.

ReplyDeleteNo other pup has as much influence on me as Mole. So, I agree. It must be him.
